I reached out to guy a few months back and implored him to keep low expectations for me, and since then he has only helped me to build my confidence and previous perception of my incompetence. He is one of the most patient people I have ever met which allows me to slowly better my skill, but also helps me move at a pace that will introduce new songs or techniques that wont burn me out. He’s been very accommodating with lesson times and locations (which helps since I’m especially erratic) and overall makes learning a new skill a pleasure for me rather than a chore. If I could give a sixth star for his patience and encouragement alone, I would.
Guy is very thorough and precise in his teaching structure however he let me play at my skill level and helped to build me up from there . Which I have in a matter of 2 months advanced so much I’m my playing . The environment is comfortable and spacious and a very relaxed setting . He has a bunch of guitars if you need to practice on one and he is highly experienced and knowledgeable in playing and music theory. I give it 5 stars .

A brilliant teacher whose classes are led at the pace and the enthusiasm of the student. He somehow manages to keep the lessons fun and engaging for my son. While teaching him about famous rock guitarists, they strum chords and learn pieces of famous rock songs. I could not ask for a better teacher.
